30 Scriptures About Peace

Why Are We Called to Have Peace?

We are called to have peace as Christians because it's a sign that we trust (and have Faith) in God. In Galatians 5, we learn that peace is part of the fruits of the spirit.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." - Galatians 5:22-23
